Retreat questions, answered
The questions planners ask us before they book, answered plainly by the hosts who have had groups at the base of Blue Mountain for over 50 years.
Booking and cost
How much does a corporate retreat at Blue Mountain cost?
We quote one number for the whole property: a nightly rate per chalet that covers the bedrooms, the great room, the kitchen, the hot tub and the games room, with no per-room rates, no per-hour meeting room and no per-plate catering minimums.

Send us three things: your headcount, your dates or a target week, and what you are planning.
Read the answer →Can we book for one night, or is there a minimum stay?
Most teams stay two or three nights, which gives one full working day with an evening on either side.
Read the answer →When is the best time of year for a corporate retreat at Blue Mountain?
There is no bad season, only different retreats. Winter gives the team the ski hill 500 metres away and evenings by the fire; fall is planning season with the escarpment in colour and the easiest calendars; summer adds the private Georgian Bay beach; spring is quiet and usually the best value.

How many people can Blue Mountain Retreats host?
Groups of 5 to 42. Each of our three matching luxury chalets has seven bedrooms, fourteen beds and six and a half bathrooms, and sleeps 14.
Read the answer →What’s included in a luxury chalet at Blue Mountain Retreats?
The whole house. Each of the three matching chalets is a brand-new build of about 5,000 square feet with seven bedrooms, fourteen beds and six and a half bathrooms, a private bathroom in nearly every room, a vaulted great room with a wood-burning fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table for fourteen, a games room with a ping pong table, a private hot tub, decks with a gas BBQ and mountain views, high-speed wifi throughout and parking at the door.
Read the answer →Is there real meeting space in the chalets, or just bedrooms?
Yes. Each chalet is built around a vaulted, open-concept great room that holds the whole group, with a dining table that seats fourteen as the boardroom table, decks for breakouts and high-speed wifi that holds up for a full day of video calls.

Is catering available for a retreat at Blue Mountain?
Yes, three ways. Every chalet has a fully equipped kitchen and a gas BBQ on the deck for cooking in; local private chefs and caterers, listed with their phone numbers on our Things to Do page, will cook in the chalet or deliver for a group; and Blue Mountain Village, with its restaurants, is a ten-minute walk.
Read the answer →What team-building activities are there at Blue Mountain?
More than a team can use in one trip. In winter the ski hill is 500 metres from the chalet; the rest of the year it is the gondola, the Scenic Caves, hiking on the escarpment, downhill biking and golf, plus winery and brewery tours, spa days and, in the warm months, a private sandy beach on Georgian Bay five minutes away.
Read the answer →Can we hold our company’s year-end party at Blue Mountain Retreats?
Yes. A year-end party here is a private chalet for the evening and the night: dinner at one table for fourteen in each chalet, or up to 42 people across the three chalets side by side (more with the Tyrolean Village cottages next door), cooked by a private chef in the great room or picked up from the Village restaurants a ten-minute walk away.
